Unit was built in Mar 66, builder number #31421. Leased to NdeM in Nov 89 to Jun 90. Returned to UP and stored. Leased to NdeM in Jul 92 to Oct 92. Stored unserviceable at Ft. Worth, TX. Sold to Helm Financial on 26 May 93. In lease service briefly in 1995 as MKCX #3007. Rebuilt to SD40M-3 by Boise Locomotive Co., Boise, ID, and completed as Helm Leasing (HLCX) 6078 on 3 Nov 97.	9/9/2009 12:12:38 AM
