CNW pair near Kemper Editors Pick! Contributor's Pick!
When the North Western abandoned the old CGW yard in Kansas City its freights could be found parked just about anywhere in the city, while also using the small, outlying yard in Liberty to generate 'shuttle' trains into KC. Here veteran GP7 4149 sits with GP38-2 4701 near Kemper Arena, awaiting a crew to take it where ever it needs to go.
