| The Chillicothe-Brunswick Rail Authority (CBRM) operated the former NS/NW/WAB line from Chillicothe to Brunswick MO for two periods, Jan 1987 to Mar '90, Oct '94 to Mar '04. CBRM was formed under the Green Hills Rural Development Agency, a quasi-governmental NW Missouri group. GHRD sold the road to the City of Chillicothe in 2004, with the CBRM organization being officially disolved by the state in Dec 2009. The route, now functionally a 4-mile terminal operation, is leased by the city to Motive-Rail Inc (MRIX), who runs it under the Missouri North Central title. |
