| This is the BN (former SP&S) yard at Wishram WA, looking northeast from the Oregon side of the Columbia River. Historically the crew change point for the SP&S between Portland and Spokane, it was also the place where the Oregon Trunk crossed the Columbia River and headed south. The BN bridge leading to the OT dominates the view to the west; while the UP runs along the river's southern bank. |
