As a local explained to me several years ago the structure, which carries the Old Hume Highway over the tracks, had a truck loaded with biscuits (cookies to us in the US) go out of control and end up on the tracks, closing the line for a period. It's been "Biscuit Bridge" ever since. |

I caught him pensively considering his future; he ended up bounding right up the hill seconds after I shot the picture. There was another Kangaroo feeding in a park only about three blocks away but he seemed less interested in trains. The tracks belong to the Lachlan Valley Ry, a heritage group which operates the former NSW RY line. |

The Sydney Monorail was opened in 1988 as a 2.2 mile (3.6KM) circle connecting the central business district with the newly re-developed Darling Harbour tourist area.
