NS train 21T, a Harrisburg to Kansas City stack train, crosses Luetkenhaus Boulevard as it departs Wentzville MO after a meet with eastbound no111. About two hours later it would have a power failure near Benton City and tie up the entire railroad, requiring some fancy footwork by the dispatcher to rescue it. On top of that, and in spite of the clear blue skies here, was the forecast for up to a foot of snow on the way. It's just another day on the railroad. |
