Working Anacortes |
Description: |
The BN ran trains into Anacortes Washington up until about 1990. These two units on the suitably named Anacortes Local are spotting cars just south of downtown. The line is now the Tommy Thompson Trail. |

Over the trestle |
Description: |
BN's Anacortes Local is returning from its name town over the long trestle that crosses the south end of Fidalgo Bay near March Point. The local stopped operating west of here not long after this date as the last traffic dried up in Anacortes proper. The bridge has subsequently been developed as a Rail-Trail. |
