Description:  The remains of Santa Fe SD26 4625 on a DODX flatcar at Clovis in October 1974; it was involved in a wreck at Rustler Springs, TX in August 1974, only about 13 months after being converted into an SD26 from SD24 4525.

Description:  During the late 1970s the MP ran a nightly Ft Worth to the Santa Fe at Clovis NM. You could usually catch the MoPac power in the morning- as shown here. This was when you could sign a waiver in the yard office and gain access to the entire facility.
