Late afternoon in Caldwell County MO; parked at Polo MO hoping for a westbound, either on ICE or UP. You end up with an eastbound on the ICE, almost axial lighting and no real options for a good shot. You chase it 15 miles east to Braymer and the Route N crossing, where the tracks head to the north for a short piece- this is the best you can do. Three units; the second one (StLH 5615) apparantly with cooling issues on an 82deg day as the doors are open on both sides. |
