Title:  Breathe Easy
Description:  UP GP9 261 runs slowly through the Salt Lake City shop area in June 1973. It's hood displays additional ventilation holes put in it by the UP from when it was one of the first two UP GP9s equipped with experimental AiResearch turbochargers in 1956. It was subsequently rebuilt to a normal, non-turbocharged configuration but the hood openings remained until retired in 1979.

Description:  A trio of UP geeps sit in the yards at Ogden in August 1976. GP9 289, GP9B 150B, GP7 125. The B-unit was retired only a few weeks after this picture was taken. 125 lasted until October 1977 and 289 to Feb 1979.
