SP had a number of big Alcos working as switchers and transfer units in Houston and New Orleans through the early 1970s. in 1974 a number of them were moved to the Pacific Lines, ending up in places like Colton and Ogden. RSD12 2961 was one of three passing through El Paso in Dec 1974 during the transfer. |
