Title:  Seattle & North Coast in Seattle
Description:  The Seattle & North Coast RR tried to make a go of the Milwaukee Road trackage on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. It started up in 1980 and operated for four years before bankruptcy put it out of business. Here an ex BN/GN F7A and former MILW SW1 sit at their ferry slip and yard on the Seattle waterfront well after the shutdown.

Description:  Santa Fe's huge F-unit fleet served in diminishing numbers into the mid-70s and could be typically found on lines from Clovis NM east. F7A 238L sits in the morning light at Clovis in August 1974 in company of a pair of F7Bs and a CF7. The 24 year old vet will be converted to CF7 2472 in two years.
