Title:  Goodwin/Alco DL-531
Description:  The Goodwin/Alco DL-531 is one of Australia's most important locomotive designs, having been built in large numbers (210) and proving useful for a multitude of duties. Built from 1959 to 1970, they carry a 6-251 engine rated at 950HP for traction. 833, shown here, was built for the SA Ry and is now stored in poor shape off the Cootamundra turntable.
