The shortline runs a stretch of former KCS (ICG, GM&O, Alton) trackage to the city's industrial park on its southwest side. It started operations in 2007 and although it owns the entire Fulton Branch as well as rights on an industrial spur on the town's northeast corner, it spends almost all of its time working the industrial park. The Fulton branch does not appear to have seen a train south of Auxvasse since acquired by OVRR. |

The road has only recently started working the line south of Mexico and is currently using it to store STSX tank cars. The portion beyond Auxvasse to Fulton remains out of service although neatly stacked piles of new ties at Auxvasse would seem to suggest better things are ahead. This unit (1362) would be 'trapped' at this location on the wrong end of a non-moving train south of Mexico through the summer of 2011, when it was sent off to an associated line in South Dakota. |
