Frisco caboose 1111 on display at Newburg MO. Built by the North East Oklahoma (NEO) RR at Miami OK in 1947, it was one of four (nos. 53-56) that went to the Frisco when it was bought out, being renumbered as 162-164 and 186; and later 1110, 1111, 1157 and 1186. The caboose sits next to the town's museum and it contains quite a bit of material in it as well. Newburg sits on the east end of Dixon Hill, which was the Frisco's harshest grade; the town used to have a large roundhouse and was base for the helpers the road needed to get trains over the hill.
