Lone Star Industries 501  Contributor's Pick!       
A rare EMD switcher; Lone Star Industries SW900 501 (with 201 in the light boards); former Texas Construction Materials 501, built as Colorado River Western 201. It was shot by Paul Wilshaw on the L&N headed for the LCEX plant at Medley FL, which is now called Tarmac Florida INC. CRW was a nine-mile Texas-based shortline owned by TCM built in 1955 and sold to the SP (TNO) in 1958. TCM was later acquired by or renamed Lone Star Industries.
