| 1720-class 1749 is the second unit in an empty cattle train running through downtown Brisbane in the rain. Its paint has been modified with the Aurizon logo over its old Queensland Rail paint. Clyde/GM built 56 of these light (62 ton), 1000HP, six-axle locomotives from 1966. Roughly 20 remain in service in early 2013. |
