KCS flood divert |
Description: |
With floods closing the KCS's cross-Missouri line at Louisiana, the road is putting two trains a day on the NS. KCS 4681 leads six other units (including five new KCSM GEs) past the site of the old depot (and WABASH caboose on display) in Moberly MO; the oncoming crew is in the bus. After a quick talk with the off-going men they'll be on their way for Kansas City over the NS. |

Crew Change for a guest train |
Description: |
Flooding has closed the KCS' cross-Missouri line at Louisiana MO and forced it to run on the NS. The train is sitting by the location of the old depot and divisional headquarters in downtown Moberly while the crew changes. Only the first three units are working- the rear five are brand new KCSM GEs. The train is a combination of Schneider and other stacks and general freight. |
